Fast Dictate (MICHEL Pierrick EI, SIRET number 849 317 508 00026, RCS Toulouse) places the utmost importance on the protection and confidentiality of your personal data, as a mark of professionalism and trust.
Our Privacy Policy reflects our commitment to complying with applicable regulations (in particular the General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR") and aims to clearly inform you about:
It applies to any user (individual or legal entity) of the Fast Dictate application.
When you use Fast Dictate to transcribe your voice into text, here is how we handle your recordings:
Your audio files are temporarily transmitted to our transcription provider via a secure connection (TLS 1.3) in order to generate the corresponding text. Once the transcription is complete, audio files are immediately deleted and are never stored on our servers.
The transcribed text is stored locally on your device. Fast Dictate does not currently offer cloud synchronisation of transcriptions: your transcriptions never leave your device and are never hosted on our servers.
Important: Neither your audio recordings nor your transcriptions are stored on our servers. Audio is processed in memory and immediately discarded; transcriptions remain exclusively on your device.

The content of your dictations is processed by transcription and hosting providers certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022. For the Pro plan, this processing is operated entirely in France by French providers also certified HDS (Hébergeur de Données de Santé, French Healthcare Data Host); no transfer outside the European Union takes place. For the Free and Standard plans, speech-to-text transcription is operated by an inference provider located outside the European Union, under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). In all cases, audio files are processed in memory and then immediately destroyed after transcription; transcriptions remain stored locally on your device.
Technical account data is entrusted to international sub-processors that comply with GDPR through the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC):
No professional content (audio, transcription) transits through these non-EU sub-processors: they only have access to the email and account metadata.
We never sell or transfer your data to commercial third parties.
The exhaustive list of technical sub-processors, their contractual commitments and the categories of data processed are set out in our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), available on simple request at contact@fastdictate.com.
