When you use Fast Dictate to transcribe your voice into text, here is how we handle your recordings:
Your audio files are temporarily transmitted to our transcription provider via a secure connection (TLS 1.3) in order to generate the corresponding text. Once the transcription is complete, audio files are immediately deleted and are never stored on our servers.
The transcribed text is stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud synchronization (optional), your transcriptions are encrypted (AES-256) and hosted on our secure servers located in France on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure.
Important: Your audio recordings are never permanently stored. Only the final transcriptions are retained, and only if you choose to do so.

Upon expiration of the indicated periods, data is deleted or anonymized. In the event of a dispute, we retain the data until the matter is resolved.
